About the Rooftop at MCC

Event FAQs: 

Q: What does the Rooftop at MCC look like?

A: Our space is an open floor plan with a large wrap-around terrace, and floor to ceiling windows. The space also includes a large catering pantry, two multi-stall restrooms, dressing room or greenroom, and a large coat closet. Download our event space blueprint and a sample event floor plan to see the full layout. 


Q: What is the capacity? 

A: The capacity for a theater-style seated event is 225, and for a sit-down dinner, we can accommodate 150-200 guests, depending on the size and need for a dance floor. 
 

Q: Is the space equipped with audio/visual equipment?

A: The room is equipped with a drop-down projector screen and ceiling-mounted projector, which can connect to any laptop via an HDMI connection. (We can provide a laptop and cords as needed. Please ask about specifics.) Two handheld cordless microphones a/and two corded microphones are available for use with overhead speakers throughout the space.
 

Q: What type of deposit is needed?

A: A 50% deposit is required upon the signing of a rental agreement with the balance due 30 days before the event. 
 

Q: How long is the rental period?

A: The standard event duration is 5 hours with an additional 4 hours for setup time. 

 

Q: How late can an event run?

A: Out of respect for our community, we ask that all events end at midnight. 

 

Q: Are table and chair provided?

A: Round tables that seat up to 8 people each are available for your use, as well as white chairs. Rectangular tables can also be provided for other uses, such as food service. Rented furniture is also allowed. All dinnerware and linens must be provided by the renter or caterer.
